Passive Fire Protection & Emergency Exit Solutions in Saudi Arabia

We design, supply, install, and certify passive fire protection (PFP) and life safety egress infrastructure across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Operating in strict compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC 801), NFPA Standards (80, 101, 221, 252), and Saudi Civil Defense (Salamah) requirements, our passive containment and egress solutions preserve structural stability, maintain fire compartmentation, and protect emergency escape routes without requiring manual activation.

about our company

Firestop Systems & Cable Penetration Seals

Utility penetrations through fire-rated walls, floors, and shafts create immediate pathways for flames and toxic smoke. We restore fire-resistance ratings using UL-listed and FM-approved firestopping assemblies.

  • Cable Tray & Electrical Penetration Seals High-density cable trays passing through compartment boundaries require dynamic sealants that expand under thermal stress. We install intumescent mastics, firestop blocks, and composite sheets that expand up to 25 times their original volume, choking off voids around cables.
  • Mechanical Pipe Penetrations & Duct Seals Plastic (PVC/CPVC) pipes melt under heat, leaving open breaches in fire walls. We install UL-listed intumescent pipe collars and wraps that crush collapsing pipes to form an airtight, fire-resistant char seal for up to 4 hours (EI 120/240).

what we do

Fire-Rated Doors, Shutters & Architectural Glazing

Opening protective systems maintain fire separation while permitting daily operational flow, emergency access, and safe egress across fire zones.

Hollow Metal Fire Doors & Frames

Manufactured and certified per UL 10C / NFPA 252, equipped with intumescent door seals, heavy-duty hinges, certified door closers (EN 1154), and panic hardware (EN 1125).

Automatic Rolling Fire Shutters

Motorized, drop-tested steel fire shutters linked directly to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) to isolate large open bays, retail concourses, and industrial loading zones.

Fire-Rated Glazing & Vision Panels

Insulated fire-resistant glass (EI 30 to EI 120) that blocks radiant heat transfer, providing transparent compartmentation in office towers, hospital corridors, and public atriums.

Full-Lifecycle Infrastructure Services Across the Kingdom

We manage every phase of private fire water main and pump house development, taking your project seamlessly from blank blueprints to official Civil Defense approval.

STRUCTURAL STEEL PROTECTION METHODS

Intumescent Coatings & Structural Steel Fireproofing

Unprotected structural steel loses its load-bearing capacity at approximately 550°C. We apply specialized coatings and board systems engineered to delay thermal transfer, preventing building collapse during intense fires.

  • Intumescent Paint Systems (Thin-Film) Applied as a smooth paint finish, these coatings expand into a thick insulating foam layer when exposed to heat, maintaining structural integrity for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes per BS 476 / EN 13381 standards.
  • Cementitious & Board Fireproofing For heavy industrial environments, refineries, and exposed external structures, high-density cementitious sprays and mineral boards provide durable, weather-resistant thermal insulation against hydrocarbon pool fires.

Emergency Exit Signage & Backup Photoluminescent Egress

During power loss and heavy smoke accumulation, low-level illumination marks critical escape routes to ensure swift, orderly evacuation per NFPA 101.

Photoluminescent Exit Signage

Photoluminescent exit signs absorb ambient light and glow in complete darkness without requiring electricity. They provide continuous wayfinding during power outages and smoke-filled conditions and comply with ISO 16069 and DIN 67510 standards.

LED Emergency Exit Signs

Self-contained LED exit signs automatically switch to battery power when the main electrical supply fails. Featuring rechargeable batteries with up to three hours of backup operation and built-in self-testing functionality, they ensure reliable emergency illumination.

Emergency Panic Hardware

Panic bars and emergency exit hardware allow occupants to open exit doors quickly with minimal effort during an emergency. Designed for high-occupancy buildings, these systems comply with EN 1125 and UL 305 standards for dependable emergency egress.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Still Have Any Questions?
General Questions
What is the difference between active and passive fire protection?

Active systems (sprinklers, alarms) require detection or manual action to suppress fires. Passive fire protection is built into the structure (fire doors, firestopping, intumescent paint) to automatically contain fire spread and protect egress routes.

Fire doors in commercial and industrial facilities must undergo physical inspection at least annually. Checks include verifying seal integrity, self-closing mechanisms, latch engagement, and maximum perimeter gaps (typically ≤ 3mm).

Salamah portal licensing takes 5 to 10 business days following inspection. Final approval requires certified product listings, as-built installation logs, and passing physical inspection by Civil Defense auditors.
